About Us

The Hopkins County Family YMCA is a gathering place that strengthens our community. We are a leading voice on health and well-being. With a mission centered on balance, the Y brings families closer together, encourages good health and fosters connections through fitness, sports, fun and shared interests. As a result, many are receiving the support, guidance and resources needed to achieve greater health and well-being. As a leading nonprofit organization, the Hopkins County Family Y relies on financial donations to provide local families essential services such as childcare, membership assistance, water safety training, and participation in sports. Every day the Y addresses the financial needs in our community by making sure that everyone - regardless of age, income, or background - has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

The Y uses financial gifts to help individuals and families in need participate in programs such as after school care, youth sports, health and wellness, swim lessons, summer camp and more right here in Hopkins County Kentucky. We encourage everyone in the community to join our cause. When we all pitch in and help our neighbors, we make a meaningful, enduring impact in the lives of children and families ultimately strengthening our community.
