College & Career Expo, Western Kentucky, Southwest Indiana has secured space at the Owensboro Convention Center. For nearly a quarter of a century, College & Career Expo, Louisville has brought together colleges, universities, vocational schools, employers and career counselors with adults and students looking to make the next step toward their education or career goals. This year it expands its reach even further by hosting a second event on September 27, 2015 at the Owensboro Convention Center. The event has the support of many of the region?s top educational institutions and top employers. Sponsors include: Owensboro Community & Technical College, Owensboro Health, Owensboro Parent/Owensboro Living Magazine and the National Center for Hospitality Studies. Meanwhile, superintendents at Owensboro Public, Owensboro Catholic, Daviess County, McLean County, Hancock County, Muhlenberg County and Ohio County have all endorsed the event and are in support of having this exciting opportunity for students. The Career Placement Network is encouraged to have an event for job seekers who will be able to talk with many recruiters throughout the region.
